Skin check-in
A brief review of what has changed since your last visit — products, medication, hormonal timing, flares — because it determines the protocol we use today.
Cleanse and resurface
A double cleanse, then a gentle glycolic or salicylic pass to loosen dead cells and soften the contents of blocked pores.
Extraction
Vacuum extraction clears debris without manual squeezing. Stubborn comedones are addressed manually only where it will not traumatise the skin.
Infuse and protect
A serum chosen for your concern — hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, peptides or a calming blend — followed by SPF. We will tell you if we think you need a different treatment instead.
The science
Why it works
Hydradermabrasion uses a handheld tip that exfoliates, applies a mild acid solution, vacuums out debris and infuses hydrating serum in a single pass. Because the exfoliation is wet and the suction does the extraction, it achieves a proper clean-out without the scraping and squeezing of a traditional facial, and without the redness of a peel.
The reason we call it customized rather than naming a package is that skin is not static. The same patient may need salicylic-led work through a congested month and pure barrier support the next. We adjust the acid blend, the suction strength, the number of passes and the finishing serum every visit, based on what your skin is doing when you arrive.
We are honest about what this treatment is. It gives excellent immediate results — skin looks clearer, smoother and better hydrated for a couple of weeks — and it is genuinely useful for congestion and dullness. It does not remodel collagen, fade established melasma or resolve hormonal acne. Those need microneedling, careful pigment work or an internal review, and we will say so rather than selling you a course of facials.
